![]() To whom it may concern I recently embarked on building my first AR-15, after an exhausting search through the 100’s of lowers out there I came across Kenco Arms in Conroe, TX. Being in Spring, TX I was pretty excited to contact Kenco with the desire of supporting a local company. After speaking with Ken at Kenco through several emails I decided his lower was the way to go, although two friends (seasoned AR shooters) both still insisted I should buy a Rock River or M&P complete lower. Resisting my friends advise I purchased and picked up, on a Saturday morning, the complete lower from Ken. I had with me a complete DPMS upper I had got from a friend the night before and they mated up like they were made for each other. The following morning (Sunday) I was waiting at the range when they opened with my two friends itching to try out my new AR. I took with me 200 rounds with the desire to really put it through the ropes. First impressions were outstanding, the lower was solid but not heavy, the trigger group Ken used on the lower was great (much better than my friends M&P), the magazines ejected with force. I was very pleased. Glowing, both my friends chalked up my excitement to “First AR Love” .. So I handed one of them the rifle. To make this long story a little shorter, when we were done we had gone through 500 rounds total. I only went through 200.. my two friends had put the other 300 through it. As we were leaving I had to ask, and rub it in a little, if they still thought I should have gone with a M&P or Rock River .. they both replied “HELL NO”. Bottom line, not only did i save considerable money buying the Kenco over the M&P or RRA but I honestly feel I got a better product. Kyle B. Spring, TX
